Here are some awesome videos. [Reality videos after the "jump" (ha, I kill me).]
In order to send the Air Force some love, there were two USAF Pararescue (PJs) HALO jump videos which are shared below and then one rockin' compilation video after the jump that's a must see:
I swear, that @#%& is better than a cup of coffee...
Jimbo posted these before:
Oh man, that was fun. I don't care whether you have or haven't ever jumped out of an airplane, this is a great look at it. I think what it reminded me most is exactly how much of a giant bag of shite on a rope you are on a static line jump. Even so, I still felt the rush.
We executed a brilliant raid into Syria, ventilated a bunch of bad guys and got all our folks home safe. Bravo!.
But why did we tell the whole world about the raid before we even had a chance to catalogue the intel we picked up? This compromised our ability to exploit that intel properly and seems like another example of Obama spiking the football on an extra point.
We also still have no strategy in Iraq and may as well be acting as the Iranian Air Force as they are the Iraqis main allies now. Not that the fight there is even going at all well, with Ramadi falling. So Yay for dead tangos, and Boo for all the rest.
The 1-325th Airborne Infantry Regiment is the first conventional U.S. Army unit using the LTATV. The Red Falcons and 2BCT serve as the nucleus of America's Global Response Force for the 82nd ABN DIV. They can be rapidly-deployed anywhere in the world in 18 hours. The Falcon Brigade is integrating the LTATV as a part of this highly deploy-able mission set.
DOGS OF WAR spotlights combat veteran Jim Stanek, who returns home struggling with PTSD. He looks into getting a service dog to help him heal, only to discover how expensive they are, and how long the wait to be paired with one is. So he starts his own nonprofit to rescue dogs from kill shelters, train them as service dogs and partner them with struggling veterans at little or no cost.
The show premieres Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10PM ET/PT and then moves to Sundays at 10PM ET/PT beginning Nov. 16.
In an era when most reality TV is hypersexualized, about cutthroat competition or designed solely to make us laugh at the culture of its “stars,” it is so refreshing to be associated with a series like this, which spotlights a man who uses the greatest pain in his life to offer the greatest comfort to the lives of others.
Dogs of War is really the culmination of the work that Jim and Lindsey Stanek have done with their charity - Paws and Stripes. Jim and Lindsey found the perfect intersection of veterans needing a companion to deal with feeling isolated and shelter dogs (most likely heading to an untimely death) needing a home. In turn, they rescue each other.
Catch "Dogs of War" on A&E this Veterans Day. Spread the word!
They posted this NSFW video back in March (and we posted it here). Seems like they already knew about problems in the VA. It makes you wonder how Ranger Up was all over it, but folks like Senator McCain are shocked, SHOCKED!, I tell you.
