THE BIG GAME.

Number one TV audience of the year.  Epitome of anyone's career- to sing the National Anthem at the Big Game.  Packers and the Steelers.  Epic teams.  And an audience to match watching it all. 

And she totally blows it.

CAN ANYONE in Hollyweird possibly do it right?  Do any of them give two shits about the USA?  And what was with that Michael Douglas opening to the Super Bowl?  Could that have possibly been any more Leftist?  I thought it was going to be a Democrat Party advert at the beginning. 

But anyway, it's a good game, Jimbo will be satiated (if it continues as such) and we'll all have commercials to talk about... and screwy singers.

Sheesh....

Aguilera needs to take a lesson from this little girl-

UPDATE:  I was wrong, and in fact made one of the classic mistakes of intelligence:  trusted-source-itis.  This is Last Post, but Last Post was not the basis of Taps.  Taps is a version of an older call redone during the Civil War under Gen. Butterfield, and as such was also known as "Butterfield's Lullaby" for a time.  A good history is here. The young lady is still quite talented, and the rendition quite nice, but is not the basis of Taps.

New version of the Warrior Song made for the Marines:

Blackfive posted up a few weeks ago a song and video that is just too HOOAH! not to listen to.  You can find that post here for The Warrior Song.

Since then, the Warrior Legacy Foundation has worked with the song's creator, Sean, and his team to 'adopt' the song for the Warrior Legacy Foundation.  Now, the WLF and The Warrior Song are one and the same in promoting its use for our Warriors!  The WLF has 'adopted' the song as its 'fight song'.

It's such a perfect fit.  If you haven't seen it, take a look at it now.  Be sure to pick up a copy of it and spread it around!

Because it's my blog, I felt like posting this song by one of my favorite bands, Yellowcard.  "Believe" is a tribute to the first repsonders who died on 9/11.  I also think it's about Rescorla who saved 2,700 people.
