I do have very strong opinions on this election, from the top down. You might can guess some of them, though a few might surprise some. I'm not, however, going to tell you my thoughts, how I think you should vote, or anything like that. I'm just going to share some words I posted elsewhere a few minutes ago:
Today, you have the chance to do something special and wonderful. The idea of a peaceful and regular revolution, along with the idea that every individual was capable of understanding complex issues and making an informed vote was one of the more radical ideas within the great experiment that is America. It is a privilege, it is a duty, and it is a responsibility -- and taking part with an informed vote is one of the major differences between a subject and a citizen. Today, be a citizen. Research, consider, and cast informed votes on every level.
It is all of those things, and most especially it is a right and responsibility paid for with the blood, sweat, and tears of others, and sometimes ourselves.
