That sounds like the title of a song by Social Distortion or something. Instead it means that the ghosts of a few dead terrorists are being repped by some lefty lawyers about that whole being vaporized into their component molecules thing.
Civil rights groups have filed a lawsuit challenging the drone strike killings of three U.S. citizens in Yemen.
The Center for Constitutional Rights and the American Civil Liberties Union filed the lawsuit in federal court in Washington on Wednesday on behalf of relatives of the victims. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, CIA Director David Petraeus and other high officials are named as defendants.
The U.S.-born Anwar al-Awlaki, an al-Qaida leader, and Samir Khan, an al-Qaida propagandist, were killed in a drone strike in September. Al-Awlaki's son, Abdulrahman, was killed in October.
The downside of this is that if Eric Holder had any intellectual integrity, he would take their case. The upside is we know he doesn't and no intellect for that matter. If you must give terrorists rights under our legal system if we catch them, then why don't we if we decide to take the easier option and blow them up? Seems like a legit line of inquiry to me. We shall see how this goes.
