Osama Bin Laden, Murdering Muslim POS

President Obama declared in a late night presser Sunday night that Osama Bin Laden, the world's leading terrorist asshole, is dead, dead, dead.  Stone dead.  Passed on.  Ceased to be.  Bereft of life.  Pushing up the daisies.  Taking the dirt nap.  Sleeping with the fishes.  Kicked the bucket.  Shuffled off his mortal coil. Bin Laden has assumed room temperature.  He now dwells in hell.

First reports say it was a drone attack, but now follow on reports say it was a ground attack by US joint special operations ground forces who watched a compound for months in Abbottabad,  just north of Islamabad, Pakistan, which is, in turn, about a hundred miles from Peshawar and the Afghan border. ABC News says Osama was in a mansion where, during a firefight, he was shot by one of our heroes who deserves free drinks and steaks for the rest of his life.

Our guys got a lead last August on his whereabouts that led to this hideout.  The operation was conducted with Pakistani forces.

Osama Now In Extra Crispy Version In Hell

The attack happenned last week.  They recovered Bin Laden's body and have confirmed his identity with a DNA match.

The announcement prompted cheers and chants from a crowd of hundreds at the White House fence:  USA!  USA!  USA!

Now we have an idea as to what CIA agent Raymond Davis, who shot two Pakistanis in Lahore back in January, might have been up to.

It makes you wonder how long the Pakistanis knew Osama was living in a mansion there.  My guess, forever.  Osama's death by lead poisoning also makes fools out of all those nuts who claimed he was long dead or required dialysis.

We still have Zawahiri left to kill and then the world will be substantially cleansed of Al Qaeda.

I want to see Bin Laden's head in a glass jar in the Sep 11 memorial museum at the World Trade Center.

It was probably a team of twenty to thirty special forces troops.  One of their helicopters was damaged in the operation and later destroyed by the SOF troops themselves.

Now the reports from ABC News says it was NOT a joint ops with the Pakistanis.  There were women and children in the compound who were not harmed.  None of our guys were wounded.

CBS News says Osama was shot in the head.  Human intelligence was crucial in finding Bin Laden, they say, which means somebody snitched him out.

Wikipedia has already updated Bin Laden's entry with the date of his death.  So it's final.

ABC News says US intelligence identified two of Bin Laden's couriers.  After years, they led them to Bin Laden's compound, which was custom built around 2005 to hide someone.  The attack was made with two helicopers full of Navy SEALs.  The attack lasted forty minutes.  During the asssault, two of Bin Laden's couriers were killed, one of Bin Laden's sons was killed, and a woman used as a shield by one of the Al Qaeda terrorists was also killed.

Osama's mansion was right in the middle of the town of Abottabad.  It had steel walls, which didn't do him much good.  No TV, no phones.  They burned their trash.  So, it was conspicuous as hell.  Osama was hiding in plain sight. obviously with the help of the Pakistani government and townsfolk. There was a military garrison nearby.

The SEALs choppered in from Afghanistan.  There was hand to hand combat.

The Wall Street Journal reports reaction from the Arab world:

“Bin Laden is finally….dead! I’m the happiest arab on the planet!” tweeted @randajarrar just minutes after the news of his death broke around 10 p.m. Sunday night. Another tweeter, @majda72 wrote “as a Saudi I’m please about Bin Laden’s death.”

It appears only the couriers returned fire, perhaps Bin Laden, too.

Chicago Breaking News gives some reaction:

More than a dozen people dining at the Gareeb Nawaz Restaurant -- a Pakistani and Indian restaurant along Devon Avenue on the Far North Side -- watched CNN's coverage of bin Laden's death on a big-screen television saying very little to one another.

Shehbaz Mirza, a Muslim of Indian descent, says bin Laden's death is not just good for Islam, it's good for the world.

"He's a terrorist," Mirza, 32, said. "Osama is not a man who the Muslim people follow."

Another Muslim, 26-year-old Syed Bukhari, concurred. He said he has a brother who was living in New York City during 9/11 after moving from Pakistan.

"What (bin Laden) did in Pakistan is not good. What he did here is not good," said Bukhari, who is Pakistani. "Because of what he did, he deserved (to die)."

The crowd outside the White House is growing, looks like over a thousand, mostly kids draped in American flags.  Who knew kids from Dupont Circle had American flags?

Another crowd of hundreds is gathering in Times Square, Manhattan.

CNN:  Carrie Lemack, a woman whose mother was killed on American Airlines Flight 11 on September 11, expressed "relief" over reports that Osama bin Laden is dead.

"Cannot express how this feels to my family, but relief is one word," Lemack said in an e-mail to CNN. "We hope we can now focus on all that that madman took, namely nearly 3,000 + innocent victims, and not on him."

The special forces team had orders to kill, not capture, Bin Laden.  That's a shame because it would have been enlightening for him to name all the Saudi princes who supported him and the source of the money that was supporting him now.  There are still a lot of unanswered questions about Sep 11, too.

Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip:

"We regard this as a continuation of the American policy based on oppression and the shedding of Muslim and Arab blood ... We condemn the assassination and the killing of an Arab holy warrior. We ask God to offer him mercy with the true believers and the martyrs."

Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir interviews Bin Laden in a secret hideout outside Kabul on November 7, 2001, asking him if he would surrender if trapped:

"I am a person who loves death. The Americans love life. I will engage them and fight. I will not surrender. If I am to die, I would like to be killed by the bullet."

Another dream delivered by SEAL Team Six.

Bin Laden's body was taken back to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, then buried at sea that night, less than twelve hours after he was killed.  The original plan was to bomb Bin Laden's compound but 22 people lived in it.  Obama didn't want civilian casualties and he demanded proof of Bin Laden's death, so they opted for the raid.  The SEALs did two rehearsals on a mock compound on April 7 & 13.

The Pakistani ISI knew where Bin Laden was all along and provided security.  Pakistani ISI agents are in Afghanistan fighting with the Taliban against our troops:

Cindy Sheehan, still crazy after all these years, begins a new conspiracy movement of deathers:

"I am sorry, but if you believe the newest death of OBL, you're stupid. Just think to yourself--they paraded Saddam's dead sons around to prove they were dead--why do you suppose they hastily buried this version of OBL at sea? This lying, murderous Empire can only exist with your brainwashed consent--just put your flags away and THINK!"

CNN which thinks it was Barry "Blood & Guts" Obama who made the gutsy choices in this air assault, says Osama fought it out hiding behind one of his wives:

Four others in the compound also were killed. One of them was bin Laden's adult son, and another was a woman being used as a shield by a male combatant, the officials said.

[John Brennan, assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism] Brennan said it is his understanding that the woman was one of bin Laden's wives, and that she "reportedly was used as a shield to shield bin Laden from the incoming fire."

He added that it was his understanding that bin Laden picked up a weapon and was killed in the firefight with the U.S. forces carrying out the assault. "He was engaged in a firefight," Brennan said of bin Laden. "Whether or not he got off any rounds, I don't know."
