On the list of inevitabilities, the peace-mongering former Jordanians Palestinians have begun poking the lion they live next door to.
JERUSALEM — An anti-tank missile fired from the Gaza Strip struck a school bus in southern Israel Thursday, wounding two people, including one child critically, Israeli officials said.
Israeli tanks quickly retaliated by opening fire across the border, killing a 50-year-old man and wounding seven other people, Palestinian medics said.
In a similar vein to never letting a good crisis go to waste, it has long been said that the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. So it looks like they don't want to be left out of the current craziness sweeping the region. It is hardly a stretch to assume that Hezbollah might want to start using the tens of thousands of long range missiles they were resupplied with, right under the noses of the UN blue helmeted non-entities too.
So Israel could easily end up with a skirmish on it Norther and Southern borders, and that secular liberal democracy maven El Baradei in Egypt has a campaign plank saying he will go to war if Israel attacks Gaza. Can you say conflagration, I knew that you could. Add in the special seasoning that hating on those nasty JOOOOOs provides and you have a tasty dish of Armageddon. Should be a lively Summer.
UPDATE: The Israelis have always been tremendous military innovators. This is another great system.
Residents in Ashkelon reported Thursday seeing Israel's new Iron Dome defense system intercept a Grad rocket fired towards the southern city from the Gaza Strip.
