Just got word from the court room.
All the murder charges were dismissed. They accepted his guilty plea of dereliction of duty with no jailtime.
After all of the emails of encouragement from family members, active Marines, and supporters that I've seen passed on to Sergeant Nelson, this is a GOOD DAY!
