I can't speak for others, but I know that I've been asked two very important questions over the last few years: what happens if you get wounded, and what does Soldiers' Angels really do for the wounded. If you really want to know one part of that, then you need to go read this post.
The one thing I will add at this point is that dealing with the wounded is a team effort. From the moment they are wounded, there is a team there. At the start, it is their team: their buddy who is the medic, their team mates who often start doing before the medic can even get over. From there on out, it is a team of medics and others who move, treat, move, and treat some more.
I've also realized that a post I thought I had done, about one small step in this process, never did get posted. I will rectify that today if I can.
Oh, and Happy Birthday roomie. Thanks for all you do.
