Sunny Hours

Sunny Hours Sunny Hours

This song is a tribute to Bradley Nowell of Sublime, another dumbass dead junkie, which reminds me how many of my favorite musicians stuck a needle in their arms one time (or a thousand times) too many. Anyhow the remaining members of Sublime and the Black-Eyed Peas (before they were famous) did this song and it reminds me not to waste a single chance to let the sun shine on a dog's ass. It's been three years since Sammy went in and I miss him a lot.

I seen lots of brothers at top and I watched them come & go,
tell me why I'm not dead with them in the valley down below.
I give thanks everyday for these words they save my soul.
I only count the sunny hours, brightest hours of day.
I never count the gloomy hours I let them slip away. And I realize I'm away

Me and the boy have been workin' in the backyard and jammin'. I think my backyard stereo may sound better than my one in the house. It is very cool to have wireless Napster to help enjoy the Sunny Hours. A little Sublime for you Doin' Time [Uptown Dub-Album Version]

TEHRAN, Iran The U.N. chief got little satisfaction Sunday at the close of his trip to Tehran, snubbed by        Iran's leader over international demands to stop enriching uranium and ignored in warnings not to incite hatred by questioning the Holocaust.

In a provocative move on the final day of Kofi Annan's two-day visit, Iran announced it would host a conference to examine what it called exaggerations about the Holocaust, during which more than 6 million Jews were killed by the Nazis

I don't think any reasonable person can deny that what this situation needs is more diplomacy. The tremendous strides Mr. Annan has made are equalled only by the comprehensive knowledge Mohammed el Baradei and the IAEA have of al nuclear programs worldwide, or the amazing ability of blue-helmeted peacekeepers to increase rape and child molestation wherever they are deployed. Remind me again why we flush billions of dollars down that sewer.

Miller Time

A quick poke at Miller's decision to pander to the cerveza-consuming sector of our population here unofficially. My position on this has always been, close the borders, place devastating sanctions on anyone hiring illegals, and amnesty for the ones already here. My reasoning is that we nudge, nudge, wink, winked 'em here by not doing the things I mentioned so.....our bad. Check everyone for felonies, which get you a ticket to the border, and the rest pay some serious back taxes, and we get on with our business.

That said, Miller better hope that every Mexican here decides to live la vida alta, because sponsoring an illegal alien rally is bone ass stupid. WTF were they thinking?
