The Draft Question Again

Phil Carter of Intel-Dump co-writes an article for Washington Monthly that examines the manpower challenges of the military and, as the best solution to a worst case scenario, advocates a draft.

I'd respond, but (USAR Col.) Austin Bay has done so more eloquently and effectively.  Obviously, I'm against a draft, but I am concerned about manpower. (tongue-in-cheek: How are we supposed to invade Iran if we don't have the manpower?!)

Be sure to read both pieces in full.  While Phil and I don't always agree, I have great respect for him.
