Battle of Wanat Awards at Ft. Benning Airborne Walk

The second awards ceremony for the Sky Soldiers of The Rock 2nd of the 503rd this week honored CPT Myer and newly minted SGT Denton with Silver Stars and SFC Dzwik with a BS(V). I would tell you about it, but I would prefer you to head to the Tankerbabe's and read her excellent post and pictures. She and SSG Pitt's mom Kelly made the trips for the wounded guys from the unit happen and her post gives a great feel for how much of a reunion and party it was for these warriors. I will post the video from the promotion and awards and a couple of pics. Congrats SGT Mongo.
