Vets for Freedom protest in Austin

Posted By Uncle Jimbo

The Texas Vets for Freedom folks are protesting and my main man Knox Nunnally has the scoop h/t Rej.
Team,

James Crabtree, our central Texas Captain for VFF, has personally challenged Larry Joe Doherty on comments he made that we are "killing babies for oil in Iraq." I ask you personally to join with James and I at the protest below to show that we will not tolerate such offensive and outrageuos remarks made about both our and our fellow veteran's honorable service and sacrifices in the Global War on Terror.  My cell phone is down but please RSVP to this email if you can come.  We really want to make a point on this and must have the numbers to do so.  Please, forward to all contacts you believe would be interested.

Semper fi,

K. Knox Nunnally

Therefore, please join us this Monday at 5:30 pm outside Mr. Doherty's campaign office to carry out a public protest against his hateful lie about our troops 'kill[ing] children for oil.' We will meet in the post office parking lot at 3575 Far West Blvd., Austin, TX 78731. Here's a map;
