Notice from the Management

Posted By Blackfive

There still seems to be some very DELUSIONAL people out there who believe that we had a lot to do with the Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth.

You can read what I wrote here four and half years ago.  I never challenged John Forbes Kerry's service in Viet Nam.  It's what he did after the war that I found disgusting:

...I personally think that he disgraced himself by his actions.  I also believe that, by protesting the war in the manner in which he chose, he had a part in helping us lose the war, lose lives, increase the suffering of our POWs, and setting us back in the Cold War.  I believe him to be a crook, duplicitous and conniving.  I don't believe that he served the citizens of this country (let alone Massachusetts) well.  I certainly don't believe that he should be a Senator - let alone President.  I would never shake John Kerry's hand...

After the war, he betrayed all Viet Nam veterans and is a liar.  He has refused to apologize for spreading lies.

Veterans Day came one week early in 2004 when we denied John Forbes Kerry the Presidency.

So, for those of you who think you're going to use this blog to do the same to John McCain, let me clue you in on something.  John McCain did not come home and lie about his fellow veterans, did not castigate his fellow veterans, and did not cause us setbacks nor losses in the Viet Nam war.  In fact, his fight was inspirational and he suffered immensely to ensure that he did not cause more harm.

John McCain was not a whore in school or in the media.  Yes, he was not a great student, and he went over the wall at the Academy to talk to girls and have a drink.  That makes him more human and less calculating than John Forbes Kerry.

Who would you rather follow over the wall at the Academy?  Who would rather be next to as a POW in a prison camp?  Who would you rather entrust our safety and security to?

Therefore, you try to pull that kind of political stunt around here and you will find yourself banned.  We ban for foul language and stupidity mostly.  Consider swift boating the latter.

My blog, my rules.  If you don't like it, get your own blog.

Oh, and remember: next Friday... is Hawaiian shirt day. So, you know, if you want to, go ahead and wear a Hawaiian shirt and jeans.
