Muslim group tries to ban bloggers from DNC
A Muslim advocacy group has contacted the DNC and told them to pull the credentials of a number of bloggers for the Democratic Convention. Apparently they believe they can ban some folks from attending the Obama's coronation simply because they post things these Muslims find offensive. Same as it ever was.
“Both of these blogs should be cut immediately from the list of credentialed sites. Neither functions as a responsible media outlet and both offend Muslims, as well as others. To allow them access to the Democratic National Convention sends a message to Muslims they will not forget. We look for Leah Daughtry, CEO of the Convention, to nix them ASAP.”
I guess these religious clowns think their delicate sensibilities trump the first freakin' amendment. I feel obligated to remind them that the right to offend is enshrined in that document, the right to be free of offense is non-existent. Spit take is at Uncle Jimbo where you can find out who these chumps are.
UPDATE: Apparently I have been too subtle, click the link and find out it wasn't Muslims.
