Douche of the Week- Madison's Poet Laureate, Fabu
Congratulations to Fabu, Madison's Poet Laureate you are our Douche of the Week.
Fabu is a silly woman who lives in the same world as Michelle Obama. You know the one where all us white folks spend hours planning how best to oppress all people of color. Fabu is a racist, a bigot, and an all around intolerant twit. Here comes the obligatory douche fisking.
Fabu: We're being bombarded with nastiness of prejudice
It appears that in the 2008 presidential election the white kid gloves are off in America and we will not only see but also violently feel the fist of bigotry.
Nice intro and lame attempt to paint yourself and the rest of "black America" as victims of violence rather than as the largest per capita perpetrators of violence.
All kinds of media are inundating us with the subject of race and Barack Obama.
No all kinds of media are making up stories about racism that doesn't exist and blaming it on anyone who dares challenge the messiah. The rest of the media are busy giving The Barack and the Michelle the most loving tongue baths I have ever seen.
.....Realize that the worst is yet to come. American presidents and presidential hopefuls have been assassinated in this country. African-American leaders have historically been murdered whenever they became powerful.
WTF? MLK was shot 40+ years ago and Malcolm X was killed by the Nation of Islam when they thought he was turning moderate. What Black leaders have been murdered since then for coming to prominence? The excremental Al Sharpton is still treated as a decent human being and Jesse Jackson still finds himself on FOX castrating Obama. I think the giant redwood stick in your own black eye ought to distract you from any toothpicks in others.
Racism and violence is a two-headed monster that no one should want released onto the American public. This is a monster that is not easily controlled and that has the potential to destroy the good that Americans of all races have spent the last 40 years building.
Racism is dead in America in any organized way. There are no openly racist groups and there is nowhere in business or government where being black is not an advantage in hiring and promotions.
.....What about Wisconsin? There was news that the John McCain camp was studying the recent Wisconsin Supreme Court contest and how African-American Justice Louis Butler was defeated with advertisements that were racially sinister and implied that he was a patsy for criminals. McCain wants the support of Wisconsin.
Because McCain, like all white men prefers strategies of racialism to an honest appeal to Americans on the issues. Every racially-charged statement in the contest so far has come from Obama's camp, the media or professional victimologists like Fabu here.
It reminded me of Australians who visited Native American reservations in this country to replicate the same kind of oppressive system for the aborigines.
It reminded me of space aliens who visited here to observe how we let clueless moonbats like Fabu roam free and spout off about things that happen only in their fevered minds.
I also appreciate the fact that the Madison-area Urban Ministry is beginning a series in July called "sacred conversations" about race in Madison. I just can't help but wonder: Why in 2008 are the questions around race still this complicated and deep-seated?
Perhaps it's because pathetic hucksters like you, Sharpton and Jackson have spent so much time and effort constructing a mythos where blacks are still oppressed by whites with a plantation mentality. You see, the rest of us have moved on and no longer care what particular shade someone is. I oppose Barry O because he is a political tool with no real moral compass and a complete muppet as far as the actual dangers facing our country. The only time I ponder his race is when some clown like Fabu is lying about why I dislike Obama and reminding me what kind of PC BS we can expect from his administration.
Fabu is a writer and educator and Madison's poet laureate. She writes a monthly column for The Capital Times.
Fabu is a racialist, a fool and a disgrace to the City of Madison. She ought to consider scaling her contributions to our political discourse to an annual column as putting together any coherent thoughts on a monthly basis appears to have overwhelmed her.
Here is the email I sent her.
Dear Fabu,
Congratulations, your piece in the Capital Times won Blackfive's coveted Douche of the Week award. This honor reflects the amazing cluelessness and fundamental racism of your screed descrying white racism. You demonstrated more out-dated cliches and insulting stereotypes about white people than I even new still existed. Chris rock once asked who was more racist, white people or black people. When his mostly black DC audience hollered "White people" Rock laughed and said "Black people, because we hate white people and black people too".
I hope you and Michelle Obama someday find that place that treats you with the dignity you are unable to show to others.
Cordially,
