Dealing with a Douche...Finally
I was stationed at Fort Bragg in the late 80's when this scumbag was at his peak. Had I been given the opportunity, 20 years would not have passed before he was dealt a swift and lethal dose of justice.
President Bush on Monday approved the execution of an Army private, administration officials said. It was the first time in over half a century that a president has affirmed a death sentence for a member of the US military.
With his signature from the oval office, Bush said yes to the military's request to execute Ronald A. Gray, said the officials, who revealed the decision to The Associated Press only on grounds of anonymity. Gray had been convicted in connection with a spree of four murders and eight rapes in the Fayetteville, NC area over eight months in the late 1980's while stationed at Fort Bragg.
I know that my position will cross some of the new and vocal trolls that have found their way to B5. I frankly, don't give a damn.
Does capital punishment deter crime? I couldn't give a shit less. There is absolutely no denying that capital punishment greatly reduces repeat offenders. Any trolls want to argue that point?
Perhaps McCain should come out and loudly praise President Bush for signing the order to bring this POS to room temperature?
Americans overwhelmingly approve of the death penalty and universally detest that these cretins live so long on death row before justice is administered.
The last time a military death row candidate reached the Oval Office, President Kennedy (a Democrat) caved and commuted the sentence of Navy Seaman Jimmie Henderson. The only other one since the UCMJ was passed into law was Army Private John Bennett. His order was signed by President Eisenhower (a republican) and was hanged by the neck until his sorry ass was dead.
In any case, my nomination for Douche of the Week is Ronald A. Gray (and any spineless troll who thinks his useless ass should be spared).
In the interest of full disclosure; I support the death penalty.
