Pelosi & Dems Play War (Funding) Games
It's time to fund the war again and Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic leadership try to figure out how to appease the rabidly anti-war left without getting squashed like bugs for the 75th time this Congress. They really do suck, I mean not only did they fail to lose end the war, but they let W and that sneaky Petraeus actually win it.

One thing they're going to fund, UJ. Thought I'd put this up here. Go Navy!

I enjoy the half chuckle near the end.
I always enjoy reading all the stuff on myspace from my liberal friends...complaining about the senate...complaining about things that are or aren't being passed...
And then I think to myself...your stupid self voted the Democrats in,not me.
So really who do you have to blame but yourself?
It is so commie liberal for them to tie on more money to it for unemployment.
Sidenote:I went on unemployment not too long ago (Im still waiting for Military Wives to have legal grounds of going after employers who fire them because they are moving to their husband's duty station...arrrgh) and actually made more money without a job than earning an honest living. That is how backwards the whole system is...and makes sense why so many people wanna be on it.
Looking forward to seeing this pan out...

Uncle J, that is a beautiful shot. Your face is filling the frame and the capital building over your shoulder is awesome. Plus, the upward angle you use to set the shot adds a bit of uniqueness. The only thing I would change is your hat. It casts a shadow across your face that you could do without. I doubt you carry lighting equipment with you, so go ahead and lose the hat. We've seen your head before. It's ok.
Also, considering you were outside, the sound quality was great. Either you did some nifty tricks or you bought yourself a good mic. In either case, it was noticed.
As for the edit, that should have been pretty simple to fix. I don't know what tools you were using, but you should have noticed that the length of the clip was too long. Or, did that happen after you uploaded it to YouTube? I have seen that happen before.

Unfortunately, this bill has been in Congress for almost a year , if not longer. Some heads are gonna roll this summer if this bill doesnt get passed soon. I wouldnt want to be a civilian Gov't worker if this isn't resolved soon. The Democratic "Leadership" is playing a dangerous "game" with this WAR. I'm not convinced Nancy and David are smart enough to pull it off.
As usual, The democrats are playing politics with life and death situations. Our TROOPS are taking away the Battlefield everyday from the jihadis. THEY can't do a THUNDER RUN to the center of DC, but I'm thinking its time WE did one of our own. Good luck USA, we are gonna need it.
A PROUD Parent of a SOLDIER
God bless our TROOPS!

Hey Ken,
As always I appreciate the constructive criticism. You are right about the hat, and the edit glitch was me using iMovie 08 for the first time, the clips are weird. I was just too beat to fix it since I didn't notice 'til I uploaded it.
I liked the shot as well, the Capitol is just beautiful and iconic. It was also the first shot with a new camera. A really tiny Canon HF100. It is a full 1080i HD cam and it only weighs 14 oz. and it is flash memory with a 16 gig card for 5 hours of video, it is amazing. I also used just the built in mics for audio so they get kudos for that.
Cordially,
Uncle J
