Picking Fights Where None Existed
The title refers to this post at Small Wars Journal where Action Hero Sock Puppet (served as a Marine in Desert Storm, lawyer got a law degree, journalist, embedded with Marines during the invasion of Iraq in 2003, then served as a Staff Sergeant Specialist who did a tour in Ramadi) tries to slam Blackfive (and military blogs) in the Comments.
AHSP uses typical law school tactics here often and sometimes at SWJ. He'll engage full on, then move to the periphery and snipe away, and then come up to shake your hand and then engage again.
I usually don't respond to a lot of his accusations which are designed to shape his arguments in his favor. This time, however, he's doing it on another blog. Is this the tease for a big story he's working on?
[Update: I made corrections to AHSP's background which I posted because some of you might wonder where he's coming from - and some you have previously. I just wanted you to know that he has served as a Marine and as a Soldier.]
