Pearl Jam Rocks Barack, and I weep

A part of me just died. I was deep in the Seattle music scene when grunge happened, and I saw pretty much all the bands in clubs. Pearl Jam was an early fave, coming from the wreckage of Mother Love Bone. Now they have done something so sad it almost tarnishes their brain-pummeling brilliance in the 90s.

We're gonna rock around Barack tonight. We're gonna rock, rock ,rock 'til broad daylight. We're gonna rock, gonna rock around Barack tonight.

Vocals on this debacle are not Eddie Vedder, but Stone Gossard one of the guitar players. I am kinda surprised because this kind of political silliness is right up his alley. But once you hear how dumb and lifeless this crap is, you can give him credit for avoiding having this shite splash on him.
