Blackfive TV- Madison hearts Huckabee
On Valentine's Day I got to see good ole WJB Clinton and earlier that day I saw Mike Huckabee speak to a much smaller crowd. He was excellent without notes and had me going quite a few times. I think what encapsulated the event for me was several folks who answered Amen to any points about life or other religious-related topics. It could have been Mike as preacher just as easily. That said he was no making many overtly religious points, more he was talking about the policies he supports and many of them match up well, obviously with the Evangelical agenda. They are also mainstream, conservative American values. I left with a higher opinion of Huckabee than I entered with. He tells an excellent story about singing the National Anthem at Lambeau Field.
