Passing In Irony
My parents taught me that if you can't say something nice about someone, you shouldn't say anything at all. That being the case, I will simply note the delicious irony of Philip Agee's passing at the hands of the great and exalted free healthcare in Cuba. Philip Agee was a true traitor, who's actions caused irreparable damage to the United States and "purportedly" cost the lives of agents, operatives, and/or assets. He was not a hero; he did not speak truth to power; he did not stand up to the man. What he did was calculated, cowardly, contemptible and reprehensible. As others have pointed out he had any number of options to address the problems he claimed as the reasons for what he did. Babalu Blog has more on Agee and some true losses to the world. Well, that's one off the KOS list...

who was oft a disappointment to his parents, though I think they would understand and agree in this case...
