Bilal Hussein on US radar much earlier
I have a piece up over at PJ Media with an exclusive revelation about when and how Bilal Hussein came under scrutiny by the military. A source involved with the operation has told me and showed me proof that our military had identified Hussein and several other media stringers in Fallujah as providing false reporting and also that they had extremely good relations with al Qaeda and Sunni insurgents. They were monitored in 2004 with intel, public affairs and a Special Ops unit to watch the reporting and compare it to the facts as they knew them and also to determine just how closely the journalists were embedded with our enemies. They also hoped that Hussein and the others might lead them to insurgent leaders. The story is here.
Here is a B5 TV episode on the same topic with a slideshow of Hussein's photos. B5 TV theme Daywalker Audio
This ought to provoke righteous outrage that we were monitoring journalist's activities in a war zone. For the complete Hussein files check with MM who has it all
