Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation

Posted By Pinch

I've got a little post up over on the Instapinch that talks about a pretty good little organization called the Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation.  It is led by Col Bud Day, a World War II, Korean War and Vietnam veteran who is America's most highly decorated living combat veteran. Shot down over North Vietnam on August 26, 1967, he spent more than five years as a Prisoner of War AND is a medal of honor recipient.

Retired Navy Commander Al Carpenter, a Vietnam A-4 pilot who was a POW from '66 till '73 sent out the email that is referenced in the Instapinch post.

Go take a read if you have some time and think about parting with some scratch to help them out.  Honoring the legacy of our Vietnam vets ties directly in to the shameful slams that the left under the cover of Moveon.org and Media Matters have been flooding us with.  It sucks that we have a front to fight at home, as well as overseas, but such is the world we live in.

Mission: To protect and promote the reputation and dignity of America's Warriors.
