Help Blackfive Win a Scholarship
There's a $10,000 scholarship available for bloggers who are in school full time (I also work full time) and I happen to be one of the finalists.
...We were overwhelmed this year with the number of quality applications for our Blogging Scholarship. Instead of racking our brains trying to narrow it down to 10 finalists, we decided having 20 finalists was a better option for all those involved...
The kicker is that it's done by vote. So, please, go here and vote for Matthew Burden. Voting will end Midnight PST on Oct. 28th.

Good luck Matt!
Oh btw, I assume that it's a one person, one vote sort of system (cookies or honor?) or is this a free for all, ala Ron Paul poll?

Good luck! You deserve to win.

Done, one vote for Matthew Burden, though I have to admit the law student/breast cancer patient mom and the female student attending my hometown college almost got my vote.
It was just too easy rejecting the Red Sox fan, a pacifist, an anthropologist, liberals ranting about evil conservatives, a S.F. Giants blog, a STRANGE photographer, a tech geek and the Fox News hater.
What can I say, I actually checked ‘em all out before voting and it’s SLOW at work today, it being sort’ a, kind’ a holiday (for some people).

Voted and posted on it!
Can we vote every day, or just once?

Done! You're getting overrun though so we best all kick it into gear.
Now, to figure out how to vote more than once! Ruh-Roh!
Passed on the e-mail list too. Hopefully we can catch you up! Luck!

Okay guys -- we need to ramp this up -- besides the fact that he deserves it, if Matt doesn't win this, we will hear about it until 10 years after he graduates!! It seemed like there were only two or three ahead of him -- most within a vote or two and then there was this Grant Bisbee -- guess I'll have to check him out to see what has given him 25% of the votes so far.
So comeon fellow BFers -- vote -- vote now, vote long and vote often!
Good luck Matt!

If this is a Ron Paul poll/American Idol free for all type of voting operation, I can help you get around the system JHD, although I would not consider that to be the right thing to do.
I would also hope that the folks doing the talley would insure the integrity of the votes cast, especially considering that the winner receives a $10k scholarship outta the deal.
Instead I sent out a mail message to friends asking for their help to further Matt's edumacation. =8^}

You got my vote Matt! I posted this on the SA forums as well. Hopefully we can get some angels to help out. After you are done with school, will you run for Congress? We need more people like you on the decision-making side of the gov't.
