I noted that Kev and I had picked up some new fans from the left for the Freefly. We produced a very even-tempered yet lively retort that was considerably kinder than we are known for. This was after we had been called chickenhawks, hillbillies and child molesters. We did it to show we can rise above, they responded showing they can't. They came, they flung poo, they cut & ran. Pretty much standard for that bunch,; they refuse to engage in debate on the issues because they have declared anyone out of sync with the "progresive" ideology to be evil, not in disagreement, not an alternative view but plain evil.

This saves them the trouble of having their idiotic worldview challenged, and they accuse us of living in an echo chamber. I guarantee I read more lefty stuff than any of the enlightened souls who would call me names online but fear the arguments I make. Well, Faa Q! You do not impress me, you are hardly a peer of mine, professionally, intellectually or morally. Judging by the pissant quality of the invective tossed at us, I am also echelons above them in beatdown quality. So lefty loudmouths raise up or STFU. The lead poo-flinger was a gent called Clif, who is apparently new to the Sadly No site. I contacted Cliffy via his own site and called him out, debate me on the issues or bugger off. I expect a condescending refusal to soil himself by consorting with my ilk. It would really be galling to be abused by such as Cliffy, if there were any actual abuse dished out. His one attempt at substance was quoting Ad Age about the NY Times ad saying the price was stand by, it wasn't and Ad Age was just quoting the NY Times. So raise up Clif or expect a more powerful retort than poo.
