Reagan T-shirt in Madison

Posted By Uncle Jimbo

I wrote about bumping into a young dude wearing a Reagan t-shirt here in the Mad City as that is an uncommon sight. I took a quick video shot of him, but I kinda spooked him by jumping out with a camcorder, so I didn't publish the video. We got an email from him yesterday after he found the piece.

Uncle Jimbo-

I just found your post from May 16, where you post a video talking about a kid you saw wearing a Ronald Reagan T-shirt in Madison, WIhttp://www.blackfive.net/main/2007/05/reagan_rules_ma.html

I'm pretty sure that was me.

I was on Broom St. with a lady friend and you asked me why I had a Reagan shirt on.  I was a bit apprehensive at first, thinking you might be another lefty eager to show contempt for my right-wing shirts.  I told you, "'Because I'm a conservative."

I thought you had a video camera on when you talked to me.  I'm surprised you didn't put that video up instead.

I emailed him back and when he returns to Madison we will sit down for a chat about being the loyal opposition here. When I filmed the bit I had on my Bob Marley camouflage as I was at some moonbat event spying earlier. I can't fault him for not sticking around when some giant clown in a tie dyed shirt and aviator shades jumps out with a camera. Good on him for showing the flag regardless.
