All the Iraq News for Today, 9-17-07. This is the stuff the MSM didn’t have time to explain. Remember, if there is any good news, it’s only because of the evil conspiracy.

I realize these kinds of images are inspiring and all, but isn't it a terrible tactical practice to intermingle so freely with Arab children. I mean, they have a bad habit of running too close to vehicles, getting run over, occasionally chucking "armor piercing grenades" and all the rest. Every time I see these pics I think: what a tempting, deadly, and poorly thought out habit.

It's a worse tactical practice to alienate the local population when one is conducting MOOTW/SASO (you can Google either or both) by treating them like lepers.
Not all of warfare is kinetic breaches and trench-clearing.

Aww how sweet;) I hope that the kid will have a good image of us.

What a huge risk the parents took when they allowed their child to wear a pro-American outfit on the streets. When my organization donates clothing to Iraq and Afghanistan, we are asked not to have any American designs on them because it could be dangerous for the children. Loved the photo.

Excellent photo, Matt. These are the kinds of pictures that should be plastered across the front pages of newspapers across the country - if the mass media was actually interested in reporting the good news.
And this is COIN strategy in process. Intermingle with the local population and gain their trust and confidence. And the children of Iraq are the future. While the "Palestinians" show jihad TV to their children, American soldiers are befriending Iraqi children and providing inspiration and hope for a better life in the future of their country.
"I hope that the kid will have a good image of us."
From that picture, I would say he already does - thanks to the men and women of our U.S. Military.

I wore a flag on my shirt once... to dinner with Homer and Marge...doncha just love the HIGH holy days and he heartburn parade at dysfunction junction?
Just made me a bigger target.
BTW did yuo see that psychopath OJ simpson is finally in JAIL? There really is a GOD. I Always knew so but now, there is concrete proof. A lying, criminal, sociopathic, narcissistic, killer can finally be brought to some, however mediocre, justice. After hacking his wife to peices, he finally gets nailed for breaking and entering....

I think that is a fantastic photo. Unfortunately, photos only tell part of the story. But nothing says loving more than sending your favorite nurse a dozen roses in a urinal.
Would a rose by another other name smell as SWEEEEEET?

When I got up feeling "posty" this morning what I meant to say was, Man am am so proud of our soldiers but what came out was....(lefty liberal snark) "I bet he didn't even want to be a soldeir, I hear he was forced, that's right, he did it for the jack"
Take that one with a bouquet of pink snap dragons and yelow carnations.
