Falcon on Station
Taken about six hours ago...
An F-16 Fighting Falcon turns away after a mid-air refueling over Southwest Asia. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It provides a relatively low-cost, high-performance weapon system for the United States and allied nations. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Grady Epperly)
Update: In the Comments, Russ points out that it's an older photo. It appears that Russ is correct. I am posting a screenshot of the DVIDS info about the photo after the Jump that states that the photo was taken today. I think someone mistakenly entered that it was taken today when it was only uploaded today (taken months ago).
