Happy Birthday, BIG DAWG!

I wouldn't give a bean, to be a fancy pants Marine, I'd rather be a dog faced soldier like I am......

There are no "Former MARINES,"
Nor are they called"SOLDIERS!"
Especially,since it's a reference,not a personal title
in thee above. It would be two
different subjects.

Woops!I read Marne as MARINES.
My bad.Sorry I read too fast.

Happy Birthday, Dogfaces!

I am so honored to share a birthday with these heroes! Remembering the Rock of the Marne is a great way to celebrate a birthday!

I believe W. Thomas Smith Jr. at NRO THE TANK explained that Operation Marne Torch, part of the "surge"-offensive started in June, was named for The Rock of the Marne.

How did this slip past me? MG Rick Lynch has no bigger fan! Thanks for posting it....I'll be stealing it.
