Spiritual Warfare Needed: Airman Jonathan Schrieken
Airman Jonathan Schrieken has served us all in Afghanistan and Iraq, and needs your thoughts and prayers this day. Back in the states and just coming home from visiting family and friends, the loadmaster with the 6th Airlift Squadron at McGuire AFB was shot in his driveway near McGuire/Ft. Dix as he unpacked his car. The shooting was provoked, apparently, by his service. You can get details at LGF, and news stories, such as they are, are here and here.
Please keep this airman in your thoughts, prayers, meditations, or whatever it is you do. Keep his family and friends there as well. I ask that the name of the shooter and discussions about them not be placed in the comments, as this isn't about them: it's about Jonathan Schrieken. The focus needs to be on him as he fights for his life.
