Sergeant Jesse Kelsch - Someone You Should Know
Captain Eric Coulson (Company Commander in Iraq) over at his excellent blog, Badger's Forward, has a post about one of his Soldiers that went above and beyond the call of duty. It is about tragic loss and courage in the face of terror:
...He quickly identified that one of his closest friends was dead and thus beyond his capabilities as a medic. He moved on to the vehicle where he found another friend killed and two Soldiers seriously wounded. He triaged the wounded Soldiers and passed the less seriously wounded Soldier to a Combat Lifesaver...
Thankfully, we have men like Sergeant Kelsch in our military. Go to Badger's Forward for more.
