US Army Attack Helicopters (video) - Our Business is Blowing @#$% up, And Business is Good
On June 20th, Iraqi Army forces, stationed in a guard tower, were taking fire from insurgents. The US Army's (2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division) response is below:
And, on June 22nd, 2007, our Army aviators from the 3rd ID spotted some insurgent activity. Here's an interesting gun ship tape of tires being set on fire in a road to burn a hole in the pavement of the road. The hole is then used for IED emplacement. I think you can see secondary explosions after one gunship lights up a tire/tire hole (other IEDs in the area are set off). Also, there's a cool sequence of an Apache flying under the camera:
