Father Follows Through on Son's Dream

Robert Stokely, whom all of you should know (here, here, and here), was able to follow through on the wishes of his son, Sergeant Mike Stokely who was killed in Iraq on August 16, 2005.

Mike wanted to come home from Iraq and support his wife's pursuit of a college degree.   Robert has now ensured that all spouses of Fallen Soldiers from Georgia can receive help in fulfilling those goals with the Georgia Hero Scholarship.  Details here.

While it is a scholarship that no one wishes to qualify for, it's there for them because of Mike and Robert Stokely.
