Revolution Calling- College students fight the power
My encounter yesterday with the Reagan T-shirt wearing college student got me thinking again about the state of our Academy. Our finest colleges and universities have long been hot beds of liberal politics and PC orthodoxy. There are ongoing signs that this entrenchment by a tenured, unremovable professoriate is having the fairly logical effect of alienating many of the students. All kids at that age are looking to rebel against "the man", well on campus that's the left-wing butt head professors who spout deranged conspiracy theories or manage to insert irrelevant Bush-hating into every topic. Payback's a medevac. Plus a quick look at our logs shows a large number of visitors from .edu addresses and they can't all be doing opposition research, and I already discussed our active college commenters.
