Victory Caucus to Become Non-Profit

Since we weren't really ready for the huge reaction we received when launching the Victory Caucus website, we have decided to incorporate as a non-profit in order to responsibly maintain our mission and your trust. I will continue to have a key role with the Victory Caucus and plan on being more involved in the near future. 

Quite simply, The Long War is the fight of our age.  We must win.

Victory Caucus Incorporating as 501c4 Non-profit

I'm pleased to announce that The Victory Caucus is now in the process of incorporating as a 501c4 nonprofit entity. After consideration among the Board of Directors, we concluded that the 501c4 structure was the best choice for TVC's mission, as it allows us to accept unlimited contributions from donors to fund our goals of educating and informing the public on the need to support Victory.

The incorporation will be completed over the next several weeks, after which time we will be able to accept actual donations from individuals who believe in our mission. We'd appreciate hearing from you right now, however, if you are interested in making a significant contribution, as we're working out our initial budget. Early bird donors can reach me directly via email at nz@victorycaucus.com .

Donations will be used to fund media campaigns promoting victory; to pay for education and outreach efforts, and to generally fight the battle of ideas in the American media marketplace against those who are espousing the politics of defeat. As we ramp up, we'll provide more and more specifics on particular projects and their funding needs, and we will of course strive for complete transparency in all our operations.

The one activity that we will not  be participating in is direct funding of political candidates, which our 501c4 status will prohibit. But if you are interested in helping identify and fund victory-oriented candidates, there is a new Political Action Committee being formed that will fund candidates and also needs your help. Victory PAC (http://victorypac.com ) is being launched by Marc Danziger, also known as Armed Liberal, who blogs at Winds of Change . Marc's a great fellow, and launched Victory PAC after speaking with me about our immediate plans to take TVC down the 501c4 path. There is no connection between our two groups, but we share many goals, and so I would encourage everyone with the means to consider supporting both.
