Great Britain decides Great ain't so great

We have had an ongoing discussion about the British captives and their dancing as the Iranians cranked the organ. I jumped on COLs Jacobs and Peters for their attacks on the British troops. I still believe they unfairly pounded folks who were doing what they were supposed to. The COLs applied our standards of conduct and their own thoughts as to how military folks should act in this situation that should be judged by what the British military and government wanted them to do. I concur wholeheartedly that the pictures of them performing for the cameras were pitiful and that they were undoubtedly a propaganda coup for the Iranians. But let's blame the right people....and let's do it quickly the sun's going down and that idiot dog smells rabbits. The Uncle J video channel

CAVEAT: I think GB has lost the ability or will to be a military power for the next decade or so, for the record I think the same of the US. But I still love, honor and respect all members of the Anglosphere, well most of 'em, well some of 'em a lot. I'm just calling the shots as they seem to be playing out, doesn't mean I like it, at all.
