Godspeed General Kingston

Posted By Blackfive

Legendary Army General, Ranger, and Special Forces Officer, Bob Kingston, has passed on.  Many of you will recognize the name.

For those of you who are fans of W.E.B. Griffin's Brotherhood of War books, Bob Kingston's charge to the Yalu during the Korean War was the basis for one of the characters in "The Captains."

Red State has a great story about General Kingston as a Second Lieutenant in Korea.  Be sure to check it out.

Godspeed, General Kingston, Godspeed.
