Evidence that the Military is Catching on to the Internets

Posted By Blackfive

Sarcasm aside, this is a good thing.

MNF-Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) is posting it's more interesting videos to YouTube.  Here's the link to their combat action video account, and I'll post two of their vids below.

Here's a night raid on Al Qaeda from last summer:

And here's a package about the use of suicide vests in combat - it shows aerial views of tactical suicide vest detonation:

More combat action vids here.

Thanks B5. I still say you can't suppress CI without the use of flame weapons. Get the humanist's the hell out of the battlestaff hq and put their desks in the red cross tent. Get serious about dominating the ao. You want to hand out candy do it in chu hoi camps.

Thanks for the link --- these are great. We even get to see a couple of ex-jihadis. Bereft of life, they rest in peace. Paradise must be running low on virgins by now.

Looked like some of these were premature detonations?? (the roadside ones, not the building ones) Were we on to them and they blew themselves up?

This is really a great idea. It could have some appeal for general news sites, too. Drudge has a combat vid up from Afghanistan yesterday and today. It would be nice to show our incredible troops fighting the fight as Congress argues about how fast to pull the rug out from under them.

Where these really belong, though, is on TV news. People need to see this. Maybe Fox or CNN could be persuaded to run these on their evening news shows, which have high ratings. (I know they have their own footage but it's not as up close and personal.) Maybe Britt Hume could pick a different one to play every day...now it's time for today's warfighter video, etc...

I'd like to see the news sites air these with slices of Murtha's MoveOn.org interview interspersed among the warriors.

Tanker, given that we shot up the guy who got out at the roadside pretty good before he blew up, I'm guessing, yes- we were onto him. Nice work.

I got wind of this yesterday, and I think it's outstanding! Fighting fire with fire!

Everytime those jihadi pigs post a video on the internet of their "conquests", the US Military should post a video of their missions to rid the world of the jihadi threat.

Bravo!

Paradise must be running low on virgins by now.

The jihadis might not have read the fine print. For this duty, you only need 72 -- no danger in running out.

Paradise must be running low on virgins by now.

That's why they blow up more women and children now a days.
