Special Forces and Horses at Raw Story

Lively day here around Blackfive Central eh? Somebody computer Tivo Matt on Gibson's show at 430 central 530 eastern. please.

Michael Rolston from Raw Story sent me a message asking about Spec Ops use of pack animals. We had used horses and mules to haul gear in the Philippines for a field hospital we set up in East Goat Rope and I gave him some answers to a few questions. I guess some of the animal rights types are hyperventilating about the inhumane (heh) treatment that these critters could suffer. Interesting piece.

In the comments David reminds of an amazing image of SF and AF CCT riding into combat with the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan. Hyeah, Git some!
