Pre-Presidential Speech Teleconference with Snow and McGurk
I couldn't make the appointed time for the teleconference yesterday to preview the President's speech on Iraq. If I could have been on the call, I would have asked about the alleged changes in ROE.
James Joyner has a the run down and Q&A from bloggers you know who were able to ask some good questions. I'll believe the ROE changes when I hear about them from SSG Hardcore, SGT Badass, and Gunny Bluto. There was some serious fighting this week in Baghdad (which I don't think many people caught on the news) and they're in it. A few days and I'll have more info.
Snow totally dodged the Iranian and Syrian border question. Good! That means we're going to be making some introductions coupled with some cross border diplomacy.
