LTG Petraeus to replace Casey
"Find out what whiskey he drinks and send all of my generals a case, if it will get the same results." - President Lincoln, in reply to comments about General Grant's drinking problems
The Valletta Papers at Townhall feature Uncle Jimbo's take on LTG Petraeus and add in some commentary from Tigerhawk, the NYTimes and Ralph Peters.
While I'm not a card carrying member of the LTG David H. Petraeus cult, I do admire him as a leader, soldier, and take-names-MF, and can't really come up with a better alternative. Lincoln's quote about Grant comes to mind. Whatever Petraeus has done, he has done well. Get more generals whatever it is that he is drinking.
Uncle J ends his post about supporting Petraeus in the fight with this:
"Oh and one last thing, LTG Petraeus...please bust a cap in Mookie's ass."
Damn, straight. Go get 'em, General.
We here at Blackfive like our bad guys (*cough* Sadr) extra crispy.
