Badgers Forward has come a long way in a short period of time.  The author, a commander in Iraq, has been knocking the cover off of the ball...24 hour patrols, commentary on military policy, foreign relations, etc.

Of course, Bill Roggio is one of the smartest guys on the planet with regards to terrorisim strategy around the world.  Somalia, Pakistan, Ethiopa, Iran, etc.  Bill's all over it.

Another extremely valuable source is Threatswatch which has several key thinkers watching threats all over the world.  I try to catch Steve Schippert's commentary when he posts.

Winds of Change is another place to get some good insight.  With Joe Katzman, Armed Liberal, Donald Sensing, and Michael Totten, among other greats.  People call Blackfive a group blog now (actually, it's more of a club than a group - think ronin playing poker on tequila).  If we are a group blog, then Winds of Change is a group blog on steroids.  I read this blog every day.
