Take a break from the election and enjoy the godlike Chuck Norris...

U.S. Air Force veteran Chuck Norris has become quite the Internet celebrity over the last few years.  Apart from his movies, martial arts exploits, and his total gym deal, the troops love fun facts about Chuck Norris.  There's hundreds but here's a few that Chuck decided to allow:

• When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.


• Chuck Norris doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.


• There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.


• Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.


• Chuck Norris counted to infinity - twice.


• Chuck Norris is so fast, he can run around the world and punch himself in the back of the head.


• There is no such thing as global warming. Chuck Norris was cold, so he turned the sun up.

• Chuck Norris doesn’t wear a watch, HE decides what time it is.


• Chuck Norris gave Mona Lisa that smile.


• Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.


• Chuck Norris does not get frostbite. Chuck Norris bites frost

Anyway, it seems that the Marines "requested" that Chuck come visit Iraq.  Apparently, there's only one way to make Chuck do anything - you need to get the Marines involved.

Here's a polished video of his visit.  Keep in mind that Chuck hasn't slept in 3 days...but then again, Chuck doesn't need sleep.  Sleep needs Chuck Norris.  [edit note:  so sue me, I couldn't help it]

During his visit, Chuck Norris decided not to rename Iraq "Chuckistan"...but if he wanted to?...anyway, here's the entire interview (b-roll) that highlights what Chuck thinks of our troops, the media, and what's happening in Iraq:
