AP Poseurs and Posers
Another staged photo from the Associated Press...
Reader RedC1C4 sent this photo that was on the front page (above the fold) of the LA Times. It's also in the WashPo and on CBS's site. The caption is was on the WashPo story here.
I'm sure most of you picked up on it, but here's what Red had to say about it:
the attached ... graced the front page (above fold) LA Times this am. what isn't as clear on this version as it was on the 4x8 print version, at least until you enlarge it, is that the slide on the weapon is locked to the rear. you also can't see the large crowd hanging out on the other side of the fire, like at a football rally until then either. if he had just fired, the arm should be in recoil, especially since he's one handing it.

I don't know about you, but if there was a running gun battle in my street and @#$% was on fire everywhere, I wouldn't be hanging around (especially within a thirty feet of a masked gunman).
Unless it was staged for the AP editors...
