24/7/365 & some foreshadowing

Posted By Uncle Jimbo

OK there is no way we were going a full day with nothing so here is some craziness.

One of my first concerts was the LA punk band FEAR, and they gave my young punk ass exactly what I wanted. They came on stage in WWI style gas masks and played the first couple of songs with the masks still on.

This only took about 3 minutes as their songs rarely went past 2 minutes per. Vile, profane, misogynistic, nihilistic, YEAH! C'mon now I'm pretty sure I was 17 so cut me some slack, although revisiting some of the songs tonight I think they hold up quite well. I'll open with that ode to true love, Beef Bologna.

Beef Bologna

OK now that the fluff is out and we have managed to keep the blog from going dark for a day, how 'bout that foreshadowing.

I have a piece I have been considering writing and I think I may knock it out tomorrow. We have an enemy and they have an ideology of religious hatred and forced conversion of infidels. The Pope happened to mention this and, shockingly the streets were filled with calls for tolerance angry, ignorant foot soldiers. They have no intention of moderation and no compromise in mind. I think it is time to recognize that, forget their tender feelings and figger out if  our world is free or must we submit and live with an iron sandal on our throats. From the diplomats of FEAR.
