Euphoric Reality - Interviews Ilario Pantano
From Kit Jarrell at Euphoric Reality has an exclusive with Ilario Pantano:
Pantano discusses the ordeal that he and his family went through, as well as a look behind the scenes into the case strategy and the choice to use the motto "No better friend, no worse enemy" in the title of his new book. He also talks candidly about accusers Sgt. Daniel Coburn and Lt. Graham Hopkins, his resignation from the Marine Corps, and his advice to the Haditha Marines.
And HotAir has an interview with Pantano too.

Before you make Pantano too much of a poster boy, remember that he shot two Iraqis, changed magazines and then emptied a second magazine into their lifeless bodies. If he had merely shot two Iraqis he would probably not have been charged. Riddling dead bodies with bullets is not the act of a normal person. He is not right in the head. I say good riddance.

I agree with you. The dude is sick. The car had been searched twice already, and he wanted to get his sick kills in.
Before you jump on me, I've been wounded in action twice and killed enemy personally. Just never killed any captives.

And the court decisions meant nothing?

The court decision means he is not guilty of the offenses charged. It doesn't mean he is honorable or mentally balanced. He is not a poster boy for the good that is being done in Iraq.
