CIA Part One - The Mystery of the Porter Goss Resignation

Porter Goss left Congress to take the reigns of the CIA in order to make changes to better fight the War on Terror and prevent another 9/11.

Over the last two years, he's made some drastic changes, cleaned house quite a bit (some think that there's a brain drain going on at CIA or a flight), and caught and fired one leaker.  Dana Priest isn't very kind about his accomplishments - not surprising as Uncle J thinks she should be behind bars for weakening our ability to fight the War on Terror. 

Hardliners at the Director of National Intelligence and the President wanted these changes made.  So, either Porter Goss wasn't tough enough for the hardliners or he was too tough for the politicians. 

And, remember how incredibly loyal President Bush is to his team.  How many officials have offered their resignations and not been accepted?  Rummy has tried to resign at least two times. 

Did you notice the cold acceptance of the Goss resignation?

Or, I am hearing that maybe, just maybe, Porter Goss will be implicated in the  scandal from Jack Abramoff that is about to hit Congress.
