Uncle Jimbo radio
The world has truly gone off track, when I can be considered an authoritative source, but...... I will be on Wisconsin Public Radio tonight at 6:20 central time on the show of a UW Professor who teaches Rhetoric, and Communications. His name is Tony Palmeri and he is a friend of my favorite lefty Johnny Nichols. He is a progressive activist and believer in grass roots politics. We will be discussing The Bring the Troops Home referendums here in Wisconsin, and the Iraq War in general. Plus this will count as the stealth launch for the Milblog Wire, more to follow on Monday.
Our show is on WRST-FM 90.3 in Oshkosh, and if you know of anyone who wants to stream it they can do so by going to this site: http://www.uwosh.edu/wrst/
We're also a live call in show. The number is 920-424-3113.
Talk to you Friday! Best, -Tony
I had better luck pasting one of these URLs into Real Player:

Hopefully you have better things to do on a Friday night, I don't so feel free to call and tell 'em you're a Blackfive reader.
Now for a new voice J. Morgan at IntenseDebate blog, who I found in the comments about The Nation's hit piece on the Marines in Haditha. I suggest you read his comment there.
But definitely go read his piece titled The day I earned a Purple Heart. He does an excellent job of describing the feelings of respect for daily life and joy in simple things, that many warriors who survive feel.
