W. Thomas Smith at Townhall has an article that you should read right now - Smith focuses on the New York Times body armor story from a few months ago and points out the Times' deliberate misleading of the public and ignoring the Marines pleas not to publish the body armor weak points (with graphics).  The reporter and editors decided to make the call on publishing the info - evidently, they know more about sniper and terrorist tactics than the Marines...

And Jack Kelly writes about the media's fascination with fabricating BS about the military.  He quotes from the USA Today's misleading story about desertions being on the rise...
