Hey, man, Cheney shot somebody!

So I go out for a burrito and *sigh* I miss the whole Dick Cheney trying to keep the leak secret thing hunting accident thing.  As I checked the blogosphere reaction, I had a few thoughts.

The first was published (already dammit) on Michelle Malkin's blog:

Reader C.T. writes: "I'd rather hunt with Dick Cheney than ride with Ted Kennedy ."

I told my wife the same thing when we heard the news...well, I first asked her to pass the guacamole, then, acerbic guy that I am, I said the Teddy reference.

The second thing that I thought was "Who the @#$% goes hunting with a 78 year old guy?!"  Seriously.  I want to know the answer to that question.  Don't tell me about your "Pa", either.  I'm talking about some 78 year old corporate lawyer dude.

The third was something like, "I'll bet he surprised the hunters by being where wasn't supposed to..."  The usual reason why someone gets shot on a hunting trip.  That or you're Ice T at a corporate event in the north woods...

The fourth was, "...well, unless he can pin the leak on Cheney...in that case, he's a dead man."  This is something that I know about.  When I almost disclosed the secret identity of Uncle Jimbo, Jim asked me to go on a hunting trip.  Convenient.  I think he invited some of you commenters too...just sayin' that you have to watch out for those "hunting trips."

I think the next Condi negotiating tactic with Iran should be an invite to hunt with the Vice President.  Talk about access!
